Robot provider Geek+ opens virtual 3-D Solution Center
Geek+, a provider of autonomous and self-learning robot solutions for logistics, has launched a virtual Solution Center to offer customers the best possible service, even in times without face-to-face meetings and communication at events. The platform, which is unique in the logistics industry, allows visitors to navigate freely through a virtual 3D world based on a trade fair stand and find out about the far-reaching potential and opportunities of robot technology in material flow in a 360-degree environment.
"Even before coronavirus, warehouse and distribution center operators were faced with four major challenges: insufficient picking efficiency, staff shortages, limited flexibility and operational cost pressure," says Thomas Meyer-Jander, Vice President Sales & Marketing at Geek+. "Our virtual solution platform addresses these key challenges and provides a broad portfolio of experiences and solutions in an informative and innovative way."
White papers provide insights into the fundamental opportunities and prospects of robot technology. Various videos and case studies show solutions implemented worldwide and demonstrate the performance of autonomous, self-learning robots with efficiency increases of up to 300% and cost savings of over 50% compared to manual picking.
"We are delighted to be able to offer our current and future customers an information and experience platform that is completely new in its form. In addition to the exciting 3D navigation options and a wealth of information in various formats, visitors to the platform can look forward to the innovative solution configurator in particular. With this project designer and ROI calculator, a future robot project can be calculated economically based on the customer's individual material flow data. This allows customers to determine the amortization period of their investment and the increase in picking efficiency themselves," says Meyer-Jander.
The Geek+ Virtual Solution Center was developed in collaboration with the teampenta agency. The Geek+ 3D Solution Center can be accessed at https://solutions.geekplus.com.
