From materialfluss SPEKTRUM 2019

Martin Schrüfer,

Integrator for individual transport robots

In recent years, the number of platform manufacturers for transport robots on the market has increased significantly. However, the platform itself will not be the decisive factor in the future.

Rather, the focus will be on how to bring together heterogeneous robot fleets from different suppliers that can collaborate with each other in an industrial context, according to experts from InSystems Automation. People do not primarily buy a transport robot from the Berlin-based company, but rather a holistic material flow concept for their production. Experience has shown that no two factories are the same. The joint project "CrESt" is also laying the foundations for swarm-intelligent transport robots that coordinate with each other without the need for separate fleet management.
