At SSI Schaefer Plastics, reusable containers for storage, transport and automation are the focus of the trade fair presentation. They are designed to help minimize packaging costs, avoid transport damage, reduce environmental impact and cut costs across all process steps.
Durable and resource-saving reusable containers help to reduce CO2 emissions. The containers are 100 percent recyclable. In addition to Euro-size containers for manual handling, SSI Schaefer Plastics will be presenting foldable and nestable space-saving containers that minimize the transport volume by up to 75 percent when returning empties. Thermoformed inserts made of DSD materials will be on show for the first time. The constructive packaging category includes individually designed packaging for goods with high requirements for automation or product protection; it is created in cooperation with the customer and is tailor-made.
