On February 10, the award winners will present their award-winning solutions at the 10th Robotics Congress, which will take place digitally. For more than ten years now, the Robotics Award at the Hannover Messe has honored products, projects and technological innovations that contribute to robot-assisted solutions in the field of industrial automation and/or mobile robots or autonomous systems. Before the final jury meeting, all applications were reviewed by a scientific team and reduced to the top ten. Finally, a high-caliber jury of experts selected the winners: Yuanda Robotics (1st place), AutoStore (2nd place) and Yaskawa (3rd place).

"In the future, it will be important to combine intuitive operation with high-tech - without expert knowledge, without training and without significant time expenditure," Uwe Schoppen, editor at Industrieanzeiger, is certain and is delighted to be able to welcome the award winners to the digital 10th Robotics Congress. Due to the cancellation of the face-to-face event last year, the award ceremony could not take place in the usual setting at the Hannover Messe.

Peter Bimmermann, Business Development Manager D/A/CH & CEE and Managing Director of AutoStore System GmbH, thanked the jury for the prestigious award: "The award-winning B1 robot is the most powerful robot that AutoStore has developed and presented for the first time at LogiMAT in 2019. We are proud that we were able to convince the jury of the Robotics Award with our latest development. For us, 2nd place in this highly competitive field is outstanding. This award confirms our leading position in the field of automated bin storage and goods-to-person picking systems and shows how innovative our robot solutions are with a focus on optimum space utilization, high employee productivity and ease of operation."

Peter Bimmermann is looking forward to the live presentation at the 10th Robotics Congress at the Robotation Academy in Hanover. Due to the current situation, the congress is being held as a purely virtual event. The thematic focus of the anniversary event will be on the topics of artificial intelligence, high-tech meets simple operation and programming, machine learning and human-robot collaboration & safety. The congress will be streamed live and simultaneously translated into English and French.
