New system for the traceability of components in the plants
AR Racking, supplier of integral industrial storage solutions, has made an important step forward in the development of a process that guarantees the traceability of the components of a storage system. AR has implemented this system to identify its products in such a way that the beams and uprights manufactured in the Tudela plant are now provided with serial numbers for identification. With this system, the different parts mentioned above can be traced, which means that each part is recognized and documented from its manufacture, even without having the package labels. Consequently, it is always possible to know which part of which design is involved and which raw materials were used in its production. The implementation of this new system in its entirety was implemented on 1 June last and provides the customer with the trustworthiness that goes hand in hand with the two important factors of plant standardization and increased safety. The system is also an efficient management tool for AR.
