Storage- and racking systems

Allow me, my name is George

The new George storage system is available from Schmidt Auma Lagersysteme and was developed by Hoffschmift Engineering. Schmidt Auma offers customized storage systems for use in numerous areas and sectors - whether in industry, medical technology or cultural institutions. "George" is used where there was previously no automated replacement for manual work: in the warehouses of small companies. Its tower housing contains a vertical lift system that is operated via a touchscreen panel. At the touch of a finger, George delivers the requested container to the warehouse opening. This saves walking distances, tedious searching and counting - and therefore valuable time, because the goods come to the employee, not the other way around. George opens up space: vertical storage inside the tower housing enables efficient loading. Depending on the model variant, George holds up to 287 Euro light containers (ELB). If the company expands and a larger warehouse is required, the system can be quickly and easily extended with a second or third tower.
