Ladders under the magnifying glass
At the 3rd Hymer Expert Meeting of access technology manufacturer Hymer-Leichtmetallbau, professionals from various trades and the industry took a close look at the products of different brands and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of structural components in practice.
In a relaxed atmosphere, 12 experts - including carpenters, painters, plasterers, interior decorators and ladder representatives from the industry - met and tested access technology products from various manufacturers. The participants discussed the advantages and disadvantages of practical use and exchanged tips on the safe and ergonomic use of the equipment. Volker Jarosch, Head of Product Management at Hymer-Leichtmetallbau: "As a manufacturer of high-quality ladders and mobile scaffolding, it is very important to us to design our products to be as practical, safe and user-friendly as possible. The feedback from the event participants shows us where there is potential for improvement. Our design engineers, some of whom are always present at the Expert Meeting, check the feasibility of the suggestions and take them into account in the further development of our products if necessary."
