Körber: Deal concluded with Siemens Logsitics
Siemens successfully completed the sale of the mail and parcel business of Siemens Logistics to the Körber Group on July 1.
In February of this year, the company announced the signing of the contract to sell its mail and parcel business to the Körber Group for EUR 1.15 billion (enterprise value). "The successful sale of our mail and parcel business to the Körber Group is a further step towards focusing our portfolio. We are proud that in Körber we have found the ideal new owner for our successful mail and parcel business, which is pursuing a future-oriented growth, innovation and investment strategy," said Ralf P. Thomas, CFO of Siemens.
The airport logistics solutions business will remain with Siemens Logistics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemens AG.
