Knapp develops an omnichannel solution for Trade Logistics in Greece
The logistics service provider Trade Logistics commissions Knapp with an automated omnichannel solution for the logistics of Intersport Greece. With the latest OSR Shuttle Evo technology.
Trade Logistics, a company of the Fourlis Group, automates the entire logistics for Intersport's sporting goods retail business at the Oinofyta site in Greece, with branches and online stores throughout Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Cyprus. Both companies are delighted about the renewed cooperation. "The mutual trust that we have built up over the course of our long-standing partnership and the availability of state-of-the-art technologies were decisive factors in our decision to choose KNAPP again," says Anestis Partalidis, Managing Director Trade Logistics.
With the OSR Shuttle Evo shuttle system, both deliveries to stores and e-commerce orders can be processed from a central warehouse. The OSR Shuttle Evo supplies the Pick-it-Easy stations according to the goods-to-person principle, whereby each workstation can access all items. This makes it easier to adapt to order fluctuations and plan staffing levels.
"Together with Trade Logistics, we have developed a bespoke design that is precisely tailored to the needs of the omnichannel business and the market," emphasizes Sven Waldhaus, Director Mobile Subsidiary Knapp AG (pictured). "The system offers maximum flexibility when processing unpredictable replenishment and e-commerce orders." The solution is set to go live at the beginning of 2022
