This solution will be rolled out in nine countries and follows AutoStore's 600th system implementation milestone. "With a proven technology solution, decades of experience between us and AutoStore and the implementation of our eManager software, DSV will benefit from a significant competitive advantage to serve existing and new customers," says Håvard Hallås, Chief Commercial Officer at Element Logic.

Hallås sees DSV's solution as an exciting opportunity in a market that is characterized by growth: "Providing integrated solutions and a common technology across countries and continents brings competitive advantages. It's an exciting time for DSV."

Brian Ejsing, CEO for Solutions at DSV, commented on the investment program: "This is a logical next step considering the growth of our e-commerce activities. This partnership will allow us to scale our B2C fulfillment network much faster.

AutoStore CEO and President, Karl Johan Lier commented: "Our latest partnership with DSV is a positive milestone for AutoStore and plays a crucial role in our continued growth trajectory. We have an excellent partner on board with DSV as both companies share the same values of efficiency, innovation and environmental sustainability, which makes our positioning in the market one."

Strong growth for AutoStore
The first robot system was implemented by Element Logic back in 2005, and the increase in robots in recent years has attracted international attention. At the beginning of April, Softbank invested 25 billion Norwegian kroner (NOK) in the company, valuing it at NOK 65 billion. According to AutoStore's CEO, Karl Johan Lier, growth in the 3PL sector will continue to increase: "The demand for automated solutions in retail and the increasing acceptance of e-commerce by consumers means that the market for automated warehouse solutions is strong."
