Combining logistics modules
Conveyor technology, handling and robotics as well as battery production are topics at Minitec. Conveyor modules that transport workpiece carriers precisely and quickly are used on an assembly system for battery production.
Handling systems based on flexible Minitec linear axes are used for pick-and-place of the battery modules to the individual cells. Robots and a driverless transport system are also integrated. With this system, Minitec is not only addressing battery producers, but also demonstrating the general possibilities of combining such different technologies. As a trade fair innovation, the company will be presenting a mini conveyor belt for transporting small parts. Last but not least, the supplier will be providing virtual insights into a Minitec-based warehouse logistics system at its stand, which supports the optimization of materials and warehouse management and can help to minimize costs.
