A special gift for a 100th birthday
In 1921, the brothers Franz and Josef Schulte founded the company Gebrüder Schulte in the 1920s, which today also includes Schulte Lagertechnik GmbH, based in the Zum Dümpel industrial estate in Sunden.
The shelving systems specialist sells its products and services via specialist retailers and an online store. To mark its 100th anniversary, the company has invested a mid seven-figure sum in a fully automated shelving production facility. The investment is helping to secure the future of the Sundern site. The planning and construction alone took 20 months, which was carried out together with the machine and plant manufacturer. Although this is already the company's fourth shelving line, it is by far the largest and most powerful, as well as the largest investment in the company's history.
