TX Logistik with its own rail license in Denmark
TX Logistik AG (TXL) can now operate its own transports on the Danish rail network. The Danish Ministry of Transport has now issued the necessary B license with effect from 8 June 2019.
The B license is based on the new A license for TX Logistics in Sweden, which was issued in 2017. Background: Denmark recognizes the
recognizes the general part A from Sweden, so that only the country-specific part needs to be presented in Denmark itself. "This means that we have our own licenses in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, whose specifications and processes we control uniformly as part of European safety management," says Mirko Pahl, CEO of TX Logistik.
With the Danish B license, TXL is also strengthening its European network. Mirko Pahl: "In transit to Sweden, we can now offer independent traction services on the fixed link in addition to the ship connections." The license is therefore the right piece of the puzzle to flexibly connect transports from Scandinavia in all directions - be it destinations in Benelux, Germany or the Italian ports. TX Logistik also wants to expand its business in the respective domestic markets in Denmark and Sweden and has set itself the goal of achieving cautious and profitable growth there.
