Multifunctional in long-distance and distribution transport

Schmitz Cargobull is carrying out a generation change for its high-volume articulated trucks: The M.CS motorized curtainsider and the Z.CS central axle curtainsider offer up to 500 kilograms more payload in the MEGA version. The body is now also available with the slatless Power Curtain Tarpaulin. The through-loading option of the articulated train has also been optimized.

The new MEGA body has a high loading volume and maneuverability for use in tight traffic spaces and congested areas. As in the curtainsider semi-trailer version, the vehicle body is equipped with a lifting roof with manual stanchion lifter. The required body heights can be adjusted in stages without great effort. The simple and robust mechanism enables easy, safe and fast handling. The required loading space capacity can therefore be adjusted as required. The continuous lashing holes in the outer frame provide a wide range of flexible lashing options.

The high-volume articulated trailer offers space for up to 38 Euro pallets. The outstanding load securing options are demonstrated by the optionally available certificates in accordance with Daimler 9.5, VDI 2.700 beverages or for tire transport.

Robust even without top slats
With the Power Curtain body, Schmitz Cargobull aims to meet the requirements of efficiency and handling speed. The certified superstructure strength (in accordance with DIN EN 12642 Code XL) is achieved even without the add-on slats thanks to vertical and horizontal reinforcements and a standard anti-theft fabric. The advantage: faster loading and unloading without time-consuming handling and climbing to secure the load.

M.CS / Z.CS modular system especially for rear loading
The possibilities of the new M.CS / Z.CS modular system are particularly suitable for customers who rely on rear loading and unloading. The through-loading width has been optimized and adapted to the MEGA body system. The internal spring-supported drive-over bridge uses almost the entire body width and therefore does not restrict through-loading. Thanks to the space-saving design of the bridge, no pallet spaces are lost and the 38 pallets in the overall train are retained.
