Erkrath, 03.03.2016 - TimoCom further strengthened its position as Europe's largest transport platform in the 2015 financial year: around 110,000 users post up to half a million freight and cargo space offers every day. Extrapolated to the entire past year, this means that 68.1 million offers were published via the platform in 2015.

The company, based in Erkrath near Düsseldorf, has over 400 employees and, with an annual turnover of EUR 56.7 million, is an IT service provider for the entire transport and logistics industry in Europe. "Even more interesting than the business figures and over 7,200 new customer contracts are probably the 68.1 million Europe-wide loading space and freight offers that were published on the TimoCom platform in 2015," writes the company: This represents an increase of 16 percentage points compared to the previous year.

According to the survey, 25% of all customers noticed a further significant time saving in the first two weeks after the introduction of the offer-related TimoCom Messenger. "A quarter of our customers stated that they were able to complete orders more quickly via the messenger. That's a very good result for the familiarization phase," summarizes TimoCom Chief Representative Marcel Frings. 700,000 messages have been sent via the business chat so far. "Not only are we creating real added value for TimoCom users, we are also increasing acceptance. That's why we were very pleased that 86% of our users felt very well informed about the new product even before it was launched," emphasizes Frings. The positive customer feedback is also reflected in the "Best Brand 2015" award, for which TimoCom was selected by the readers of ETM-Verlag for the seventh time in a row.

After taking stock of the past year, the TimoCom Chief Representative also gives an outlook on what is still to come in 2016: "Now that we have paved the way with Messenger, we will be introducing a professional document management system later in the year. We are also currently expanding our activities in the UK and Turkey. In short: we are continuing to step on the gas for our customers across Europe." The IT service provider would like to present its next innovation in time for the largest transport and logistics trade fair IAA Commercial Vehicles 2016 in Hanover. red
