Timocom presents new apps and cooperation partners
When the world of logistics meets at transport logistic 2019, the IT company Timocom will be present under this year's trade fair motto "One system. One network. One future." on site in Munich.
Visitors to the world's leading trade fair can look forward to the demand-specific system homepage, the latest smart app functions and a bidirectional interface for transport orders in Hall A5 at Stand 317/418.
transport logistic is the stage for a world premiere. Timocom is taking this opportunity to present its completely redesigned system homepage in an exclusive preview. Just in time for the start of the trade fair, Timocom is also expanding the Smart App Transport Requests with a function that allows clients to define staggered recipient groups. These are automatically requested one by one, from the smallest group (preferred service providers) to the largest (all service providers in the system).
What applies to digitalization also applies to European logistics: interfaces are a key technology. This is why Timocom, together with partners such as Cargoclix and Krone Telematics, is pursuing the common goal of making logistics processes efficient across Europe via the Smart APIs Tracking and Freight Exchange. Both the interface partners and their customers benefit from this, for example by using the GPS data or actively suggesting freight offers.
This year's trade fair highlights will be rounded off by the bidirectional Smart API transport orders interface, which clients can use to reach more than 43,000 potential business partners. Timocom has gained five interface partners for this innovation: Doll + Leiber, Lavid Software, Transdata, C-Informationssysteme and Logistiqo.
It was only last September that the IT company from Erkrath near Düsseldorf announced its strategic realignment at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018. Now it is entering the next exciting phase full of new opportunities within the Smart Logistics System. "This year, we are particularly excited about transport logistic in Munich. We are convinced that we are taking another important step towards augmented logistics with our new developments in the area of apps and interfaces," says Timocom company spokesperson Gunnar Gburek.
