Team play: Three crane companies take over new mobile cranes from Liebherr
The three North German crane companies Sönke Jordt, Schwarze ASC and Megalift jointly took delivery of three new cranes at the Liebherr
three new cranes at the Liebherr manufacturing plant in Ehingen at the end of February; two LTM 1070-4.2 and one LTC 1050-3.1.
The joint handover picture demonstrates the good cooperation between the three market players: "Together - for the benefit of the customer" is the motto.
for the benefit of the customer" is the motto. It is not unusual for Liebherr to deliver several cranes to customers in Germany on the same day. But the fact that the crane operators line up with their new machines for a group photo is unusual and symbolic. "Good partnerships between crane rental companies are important and make life easier for company owners and dispatchers, as cross-regional work is on the increase," says Nina Schwarze, Managing Director of the Schwarze crane company in Garbsen and Braunschweig.
Tim Jordt, Managing Director of crane contractor Sönke Jordt from Ratekau near Lübeck, agrees: "With the support of colleagues, we can also serve local customers who are active throughout Germany." Liebherr-Werk Ehingen encourages its crane customers to come together and exchange experiences through regular events such as the customer days that take place every three years. But there are also opportunities to exchange ideas during crane pick-ups. Nina Schwarze reports: "You can only benefit from the experiences of your colleagues. We also spent the evening together in Ehingen. We discussed everything from driver requirements and approval issues to adherence to working hours."
Bernd Preuße, owner of Megalift in Bremen, agrees: "Of course, healthy competition is important, but there are many common interests in our industry. It's important to speak with one voice."
