Kögel shows Novum generation trailers and services
Kögel is celebrating at this year's transport logistic from June 4 to 7, 2019 in Munich under the motto "Innovations made for you! - Kögel Novum: Light & Strong", including the Novum trailer generation, which was awarded the Trailer Innovation 2019 industry prize. The Kögel Trucker Trailer (KTT) of the Novum generation in a new variant and the Kögel Port 45 Triplex container chassis, which has been further reduced in weight, will be on display in the Atrium at the East Entrance. At the Kögel stand 205/306 in Hall A6, trade fair visitors can look forward to Kögel original spare parts and the Kögel Cargo Rail of the Novum generation in addition to the extended range of trailer-related services.
Kögel will be presenting two vehicles in the atrium at the East Entrance. One is the Kögel Trucker Trailer in a new version. The KTT is the result of an opinion poll conducted by Kögel at the Truck Grand Prix, the Wolfsmeile and at service stations among professional drivers on the subject of "the perfect trailer for truckers". At transport logistic 2019, the KTT is now coming with the Kögel FastSlider quick-opening and locking system. Kögel is thus responding to drivers' requirements for shorter loading times and also provides them with faster handling during loading and unloading. Many other optional "helpers" complete the NOVUM-generation semi-trailer, which has been adapted to the requirements of drivers. On the other hand, the newly developed lightweight semi-trailer container chassis with center extension can be seen. The Kögel Port 45 Triplex also had its premiere at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018. For transport logistic 2019, the Kögel engineers have further reduced the tare weight. With its low tare weight of around 4,450 kilograms in the basic configuration, a technical total weight of 41,000 kilograms and a fifth-wheel load of 14,000 kilograms, the container chassis is suitable for transporting 20-, 30-, 40- and 45-foot ISO containers as well as 40- and 45-foot high-cube containers.
On the Kögel stand 205/306: Kögel Cargo Rail and Kögel Services
The third exhibit is the new Kögel Cargo Rail of the Novum generation. This rail-loadable version also has the optimized outer frame profile and the improved body that characterize the Novum generation. Both these features not only make the Kögel Cargo Rail even more robust, but also simplify handling in daily use. In addition, the Kögel Cargo Rail of the Novum generation scores with a very high degree of individualization and can thus be adapted to the respective requirements of the forwarding companies. With a low tare weight from 6,350 kilograms in the basic version, it is economical on the road. Other highlights at the trade fair stand include the extended range of trailer-related services such as financing, full service, breakdown assistance and telematics.
