Hegelmann Transporte signs for 540 DAF XFs
The international transport company Hegelmann Transporte Group intends to continue its expansion with 540 DAF XF 480 tractor units over the next two years.
After a long and intensive bidding phase, the contract for a total of 540 XF 480 tractor units was sealed directly at the IAA Commercial Vehicles in September of this year. "DAF has understood that we need maximum flexibility and profitability for our multinational growth strategy," says Siegfried Hegelmann. "This fact and its extremely reliable products make the Dutch company a perfect partner for us."
Positive feedback from drivers
Hegelmann also attaches great importance to the safety and comfort of its drivers and equipped all vehicles with a generous Xtra Comfort mattress, Luxury Air seats, Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), AEBS and Predictive Cruise Control (PCC). Drivers and dispatchers were very satisfied after the first large delivery of 107 vehicles, which contributed to the purchase decision. The vehicles are to be delivered in several tranches by mid-2020.
