DKV Euro Service acquires Styletronic
DKV Euro Service has acquired Styletronic, a provider of IoT-based GPS tracking and logistics management. The first joint solutions for greater transparency along the supply chain for freight forwarders are to be launched on the market before the end of the year.
With this acquisition, DKV is continuing its digitalization strategy. Marco van Kalleveen, CEO of the DKV Mobility Services Group, says: "Digital solutions that we already know as standard from the B2C sector will now be established for our customers in the B2B segment through our collaboration. This includes real-time tracking of deliveries and fleets, for example. New services such as the precise determination of the estimated time of arrival can significantly increase transparency in the freight forwarding business on this basis and thus effectively reduce costs." Existing Styletronic customers will benefit from an expanded portfolio of integrated services as a result of the cooperation. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the total amount of the transaction.
