Since its spin-off from the Cretschmar Group in 2016, the Düsseldorf-based company has established three branches each in Germany and Spain. In addition to Central and Southern European cross-border overland transportation for industrial and chemical goods, the company now also serves the demand for contract logistics in Spain. The fourth German branch is intended to further expand the range of services in the Rhine-Ruhr region.

L.W. Cretschmar Süd GmbH & Co KG is a member of System Alliance Europe. "Membership of the leading European groupage cooperation enables us to serve existing customers at new locations with high service quality. We are also firmly convinced that we can offer a very interesting range of services to and from Southern Europe for new customers in the region," says Oliver Rüter,

"For us, the move to the Rhine-Ruhr region is the logical consequence of our company's strategic orientation as a specialized service provider," says Rüter, "The new branch in the greater Wuppertal area will go into press release operation by the end of May and will be able to provide our full range of services immediately."

L.W. Cretschmar Süd GmbH & Co KG is not an unknown company in the region. Until 2012, the Cretschmar Group maintained a branch in Wuppertal for decades. Oliver Rüter: "Due to our many years of experience in Rhein Ruhr, we expect to meet many familiar faces. We look forward to reactivating former customer relationships and gaining new ones." Commenting on the reasons for the return, Rüter says: "The decision to integrate the Wuppertal branch into a platform in Düsseldorf for national and international land transportation helped to optimize costs.
contributed to cost optimization. However, we have learned that these integrative models are too subject to national network constraints. In future, Cretschmar Süd wants to focus on the service advantage of concentrating on selected markets with specialized employees and transport systems for customers and partners."
