AR Racking installs shelving system at Grupo Cuevas
AR Racking has built a high-bay racking system in a new food warehouse for Grupo Cuevas in Ourense. Covering a total of 18,000 square meters, this warehouse comprises 19,500 pallet spaces for dry products in a normal temperature zone and 1,200 pallet spaces in a refrigerated zone.
Grupo Cuevas is a Spanish conglomerate. It consists mainly of food wholesalers and retailers and also has an automotive division. The group has opted for the "AR PAL" system from AR Racking for its new logistics.
"AR PAL" is a solution for conventional, manual pallet warehouses that are operated by industrial trucks. The system can be installed flexibly in terms of height, width and length and was installed at Grupo Cuevas with the top loading level at 10.25 meters. AR Racking's standard galvanized racking components are robust, offer reliable corrosion protection and are therefore also suitable for demanding storage environments such as refrigeration and deep-freeze. The modular design of AR PAL makes it possible to configure each rack individually. The system therefore ensures maximum space utilization and helps to save storage costs.
