Manual pallet warehouse
AR Racking builds for Ybarra in Spain
Racking specialist AR Racking from Zamudio, Biskaia/Spain, has recently realized a manual pallet warehouse with 15,000 storage locations for the Spanish food manufacturer Ybarra. This warehouse was put into operation in the large city of Dos Hermanas in the province of Seville. It is the successor logistics facility to a plant destroyed by fire last year and part of a new production facility for the family-run company Ybarra, which has been in business for more than 170 years. The "AR PAL" system from AR Racking was used.
The producer of high-quality olive oils, vinegars and delicatessen products under the brand names "Ybarra" and "La Maria" wanted a flagship reference for Spain's national agricultural and food industry. After a thorough examination of the requirements, AR Racking recommended and designed a conventional pallet racking system. This was said to be efficient, robust and easy to assemble with variable loading levels. The system was tailored to the volumes and weights of the Ybarra products and stores pallets of olive oil, olives, sauces, mayonnaise and a variety of other products. Built at a height of up to 11.4 meters, the AR-PAL system is classically operated using industrial trucks.
