Automation even for small warehouses
Westfalia Technologies will be exhibiting its latest bestseller for the first time at Logimat - a compact single-mast storage and retrieval machine.
The supplier wants to pave the way to process automation for small and medium-sized companies, as it is worthwhile from just a few parking spaces and can be integrated into existing halls.
As a specialist for automation along the entire supply chain, Westfalia designs, implements and modernizes automated storage and logistics systems with the characteristics of efficiency and reliability. The supplier manufactures automated high-bay warehouses with heights of up to 40 meters and several thousand high-density storage locations with two-mast storage and retrieval machines. With the single-mast storage and retrieval machine, small and medium-sized companies now also have an automation solution to improve their warehousing operations.
One mast, new possibilities
The single-master is only six meters high, with a maximum height of 18 meters. This means it can be integrated into existing warehouses and racking structures. It takes up little space and only exerts a small load on the existing structure. The approach dimensions are small so that the existing storage space can be optimally utilized. With fast telescopic forks for high access frequencies or with the Westfalia Satellite load handling attachment, high-performance warehouses with maximum capacity are created on a minimum footprint. Depending on requirements, multiple-deep storage blocks can be served from a single, narrow storage aisle with just one storage and retrieval machine. The single-master scores with good accessibility and an optimized operating and maintenance concept.
