Schmalz: Data for the digital factory is in demand
Intelligent automation requires data transparency. Schmalz is therefore presenting smart solutions at automatica that enable the networking of production and IT processes. The specialist for vacuum automation and handling will also be showcasing its product range - including flexible components for collaborative robots. The topic of the "digital factory" is omnipresent at the trade fair stand. Schmalz will be demonstrating this using various live applications that can be read out on site at a central terminal. Smart field devices record and analyze energy and performance-relevant data. Schmalz has developed the "ControlRoom" app for field devices with an NFC interface for this purpose. The program can also parameterize smart field devices such as the VSi vacuum and pressure switch or the SCTMi compact terminal.
