PSI delivers upgrade for warehouse management to Weiss Chemie + Technik
PSI Logistics GmbH is once again delivering an upgrade for the warehouse management system PSIwms to Weiss Chemie + Technik GmbH & Co KG. With the latest functionalities, the ergonomics, efficiency and the possibilities for analyzing the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for the processes in the warehouse can be further improved.
In the production warehouse in Haiger, Weiss Chemie + Technik produces more than 6,300 tons of adhesives, 950 tons of cleaning agents and 650,000 square meters of sandwich panels per year. PSIwms, which was implemented in 2000, controls the processes through dynamic storage location conversion with several pallets in a 3-euro storage location, route-optimized order picking as well as demand-oriented material provision and on-time removal of the finished goods. The multi-level processes of the production stations, including staging areas and stocks, are also mapped using the cross-location functionality.
With the new upgrade, activities and KPIs in the warehouse can be logged with new functionalities such as activity tracking to record process times for in-depth analysis and process optimization. In addition, the PSI click design ensures greater flexibility in the individual design of the user interfaces.
PSIwms Release 2021 offers simpler goods receipt and putaway. In addition, the dashboard improves ergonomics on mobile touch devices, which can be used to visualize warehouse information on all common end devices from the cloud.
