With the pL-Store Foodline industry solution, proLogistik is replacing an existing warehouse management system (WMS) and will also replace the hardware used in warehouse logistics. "We are very pleased that we were able to convince the Bünting Group with our complete package for intralogistics," says Jörg Sänger, Managing Director at proLogistik GmbH + Co KG.

With more than 14,000 employees, the Bünting Group is one of the largest East Frisian trading companies. From its headquarters in Leer and the new administration building in Nortmoor, Bünting operates throughout Germany. This includes a tea trading company, six sales companies, two service companies, a foundation and a tea museum.

proLogistik will replace the software used at the three warehouse locations in Nortmoor, Wallenhorst and Salzkotten. The warehouse management system pL-Store Foodline will take over control of all intralogistics in the areas of dry goods, frozen food, fresh produce, fruit and vegetables and fresh meat. The online food supermarkets myTime.de and combi.de will also be integrated into the WMS system.

"The expertise of the individual employees and the many years of industry know-how convinced us to choose proLogistik as our new solution partner for our system-side realignment of warehouse logistics," emphasizes Helge-Christian Eilers, Managing Director of Bünting SCM / Logistik GmbH & Co. KG.
