Software

One click to the desired label

Gambio GmbH

In online retail, you can only be successful if you offer lean ordering and payment processes, short response times and can keep up with the price war. The success of small stores in particular depends on efficient processes. The Gambio store software therefore ensures significant time and cost savings in the shipping process. The company has integrated the cloud solution shipcloud into its backend as standard. This allows the shipping labels of all major service providers to be created directly from the store system. Gambio customers can generate up to 100 labels per month without a basic fee.

Shipcloud integrated as standard

For store operators, the particularly deep integration results in a seamless user experience: shipping labels can be generated and printed directly in the order overview. You can choose between DHL, DPD, MyDPD Business, Hermes, UPS, GLS, FedEx and the same-day delivery specialist Liefery as carriers. With just one click, the retailer can display the shipping conditions of the providers for a specific order. Another click generates the desired label. Shipment tracking is possible via a tracking ID in a standardized and carrier-independent centralized manner on a website.

Shipping as a brake on success: poor conditions and high costs

The cooperation between shipcloud and Gambio solves several common problems for store operators. The most common obstacles in shipping: As a rule, each parcel service offers its own software, which is required to generate parcel labels. This means that retailers have to manually query the relevant parameters in order to compare prices and services. For the sake of simplicity, many larger store operators therefore have contracts with one parcel service and ship exclusively via this service, even though another provider might be cheaper or faster in individual cases. A comparison is often worthwhile here, e.g. for shipments abroad.

Small online retailers also have the disadvantage that, due to their shipping volume, they usually do not receive good conditions from the providers and have to factor in expensive shipping. In addition, the effort involved in generating parcel labels is usually very high, as the recipient data either has to be entered manually or transmitted via interfaces and external software.

Efficient shipping processes

Gambio has therefore opted for a cooperation with shipcloud and thus for the new generation of parcel shipping. Store operators who use Gambio can generate up to 100 labels per month free of charge via this interface. They only pay the shipping costs, not a basic fee. Labels can be generated for each of the connected shipping service providers via shipcloud - optionally, you can also store and use your own contracts with carriers. It is also easy to create return labels, output various label formats and brand the labels with the company logo.

"The first customers are already reporting noticeable savings in postage costs and daily working time thanks to the shipcloud-optimized workflow. The savings potential in the shipping process of an average store operator can easily be 20 percent or more," explains Daniel Schnadt, Managing Director at Gambio.
