CIM: A picking app with pictograms

"A picture is worth a thousand words" - CIM GmbH took this principle to heart when developing its new order picking app. The program requires almost no text and uses pictograms to guide users through the processes. With the help of the CIM app, it is now easier to integrate different user groups into the work in the warehouse. Users are guided visually instead of by text. "Think of an employee who doesn't speak German," says Fritz Mayr, Managing Director of CIM GmbH, giving an example. "They can memorize the images more quickly than the text patterns, which are incomprehensible to them." Another use case is the induction of new employees. The simple visual language reduces the training time.
