TSC Printronix Auto ID launches new mobile printers

TSC Printronix Auto ID, provider of Auto ID solutions, is launching two new mobile printers. The two premium models Alpha-30L and Alpha-40L complement the portfolio of mobile printers. The printers are designed to impress with their high performance and efficiency as well as their user-friendly and robust design, even at high throughput rates.

The new mobile printers are robust and can therefore be used in demanding working environments without any problems. Intensive tests have proven that the two IP54-rated models can withstand dust and water without an additional cover and even survive drops from a height of 1.8 meters without damage. If an optional protective cover is used, the printers remain undamaged even when dropped from a height of 2.5 meters.

Due to their solid design, both the Alpha-30L and the Alpha-40L also meet the military standards MIL-STD-810G for drop and vehicle shocks. They are therefore ideally suited for professional use in many different areas of application. They also have high productivity features for direct store pickup (DSD) and industrial field service.

Both models also feature an intelligent battery management system. The combination of SOTI Connect Remote Printer Managements and the TSC Console ensures maximum productivity throughout the working day while reducing maintenance costs and downtime. The two management systems work together to provide users with fast response times and consistent, uninterrupted operation. The integrated software of the L series not only supports OPOS, but also common operating systems such as Windows, Windows Mobile (WinCE) Android and iOS.

Another advantage: TSC uses a module certified for the latest 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, which ensures a fast, reliable, wireless radio connection and thus meets the security needs of the company. Last but not least, both printers are equipped with Apple-certified MFi Bluetooth 5.0 with NFC technology for easy connectivity, giving users the flexibility to print the labels they need, wherever they need them.

"Our new models are the most sophisticated mobile printers that TSC has ever developed. They are characterized by even higher performance and reliability than our previous bestsellers. These Alpha printers utilize even more communication standards and enable seamless connectivity even with demanding print volumes. They are even easier to integrate into existing production and IT environments. And they are extremely user-friendly," explains Sabine Mayer, Senior Marketing Manager EMEA at TSC Printronix Auto ID. She adds: "We are really excited about these innovative and highly flexible all-rounders. We offer our customers all over the world a printer series that is also convincing in industrial environments and, above all, is future-proof."
