New systems for product and packaging labeling
The industry needs markings that are correct, captive and permanently legible. Rea Elektronik presented several new or expanded solutions in the spring. For its Rea Jet product line, for example, the company presented the newly developed Rea Jet UP system.
UP stands for Universal Print - the system prints on various surfaces without contact and at high speed. Its patented, fast-drying inks range from oil-based and slightly solvent-based to light-curing and have been developed for high-resolution direct printing on a wide variety of substrates - from absorbent materials such as paper to refined surfaces. The Jet HR 2.0 inkjet technology is also new.
Efficient interaction between inkjet printer and carbon dioxide laser
In combination with the Jet CL laser, folding cartons are marked or labeled efficiently, quickly, reliably and in the highest quality. While the inkjet printer applies the content using standard and special inks from Rea Jet, theCO2 laser marks by removing the ink from a dark printed surface in such a way that a code and plain text become legible.
Rea Label's print-and-dispense systems also stand for individual solutions for implementing industrial marking tasks with labels. A new addition is the Label Color Jet 2 color label printer - an inexpensive and practical alternative to external printers. Using high-quality 1:1 full-color printing, it produces individual labels or small to medium-sized series in the highest resolution of up to 1,200 dpi and with a print width of up to 21 centimetres.
