Bosch uses high-speed ID readers
At the end of 2016, a new European Falsified Medicines Directive will come into force, which prohibits the distribution of prescription medicines without clear labeling. The pharmaceutical industry is under pressure, as the changes require end-to-end track & trace solutions from manufacturers and distributors of medicines to ensure traceability across the entire supply chain. Cognex, the leading manufacturer in the field of image-based identification technology, has the right high-performance ID reader for the requirements to be met: The In-Sight 5613 vision system from Cognex is installed in an inspection and identification module from system integrator AIT Goehner, which is integrated into a track & trace solution from Bosch Packaging Technology.
