Logistics 4.0 at your fingertips with ICS
In line with the main theme of LogiMAT 2016 "Acting innovatively - shaping change", the ICS Group will be presenting pragmatic Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for the supply chain. The digital transformation under buzzwords such as Industry 4.0 is currently the challenge in IT and logistics. But what does this mean for companies
and how do they need to position themselves today? The ICS Group provides answers with pragmatic, hands-on Logistics 4.0 solutions. For example, with the IoT suite SCM NETworker, which networks systems, and new IT hardware technologies such as smart sensors. New SAP applications in the field of predictive maintenance will be presented. Visitors can also expect to see networked applications for optimizing shipping logistics and the returns rate, order picking in assembly and the management of mixed IT hardware. ICS will also be presenting integrated solutions in the Stradivari warehouse management system: From the individual packaging unit at the packing table to pallet optimization and loading optimization for different trucks, the new packaging module reduces costs for packaging and shipping.
