Getac: New tablet for tough applications
With the ZX70, Getac demonstrates its high level of innovation. The completely redesigned tablet includes extensive functionalities based on the latest technologies and is particularly suitable for use in transportation, logistics and industry as well as field service in general. To meet the increasing demands of transportation service providers and field workers, the new fully rugged Getac ZX70 has been specially designed for comfortable one-handed operation during use in remote and demanding environments. The seven-inch Android tablet has an extremely robust housing and the longest battery life in its class. In addition, the device is IP67 certified as waterproof to a depth of up to one meter and MIL-STD810G certified as resistant to drops from up to 1.80 meters. Getac offers its full three-year warranty for the ZX70. The ZX70 runs Android 6.0 and the operating system's familiar user interface makes it easy to use, while the Google Play Store provides access to millions of existing apps. Because the tablet is based on the Android platform, individual, application-specific apps can be developed and made available for download for use. "The ZX70 was developed specifically to meet the requirements for mobile use in transportation and logistics, industrial applications and by field workers in general," explains Eric Yeh, Sales Director DACH at Getac. "The tablet is one of the most compact devices for mobile use that we have ever produced. Its fully robust design, convenient one-handed operation, particularly long battery life and Android platform are exactly what is required in extreme and unstable working environments."
