Print dispensing systems division
Two acquisitions strengthen the Bluhm Weber Group
The Bluhm Weber Group, a group of companies with marking technology as its core business, has acquired the Belgian company Noviq, based in Gingelom, through Weber Marking Systems SA in Belgium as of January 1.
At the same time, a business division specializing in coding was created for Weber Marking Systems SA and Weber Marking Systems BV in the Netherlands. As Noviq is already known in the market as a coding specialist, the new division is called Noviq Coding. Gerrie Vanwelde as Division Manager and David Sterken as Business Development Manager will be responsible for sales in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg with immediate effect. In the Netherlands, Arjen De Haas will also provide support as Account Manager.
Last year, as of November 1, there was another acquisition: Weber Marking Systems France S.A.S. took over the print dispensing systems division of Sato in France. Sato France continues to focus on the well-known label printers and logistics solutions. With this takeover, Weber Marking Systems France is further expanding its print dispensing systems division.
The Bluhm Weber Group is an internationally active group of companies with marking technology as its core business. Its headquarters are in Rheinbreitbach/Germany. It has its origins in the joint venture Weber Marking Systems, founded in 1980 by Bluhm Systeme GmbH and the US company Weber Packaging Solutions Inc.
