Schenker Germany: Supply Chain 4.0 at your fingertips

Schenker Deutschland AG presents logistics solutions and shows how Supply Chain 4.0 can be integrated into customer processes. Spare parts, individual and complex products take a lot of time and involve high costs. The solution for this comes from the 3D printer and is thus shaping supply chains. Schenker will be presenting a 3D printing platform at the trade fair stand that allows customers to print products quickly and easily and have them delivered. Deutsche Bahn has been printing many of its spare parts itself since 2015 and has already produced 2,800 parts to date. As a logistics service provider, DB Schenker is also preparing for these developments in order to be able to offer customers individual solutions for their spare parts from the 3D printer. Other highlights at the stand include solutions for an efficient supply chain.
