Bluhm Systeme: XAAR inkjet printer as an alternative to labels

Cardboard boxes are usually marked with the help of labels. At LogiMAT, Bluhm Systeme will be demonstrating that, depending on the application, they could just as easily be printed directly: the Markoprint X1Jet XR 71 inkjet printer with XAAR print head prints texts, logos and barcodes up to 71 mm high at a resolution of up to 180 dpi, for example. This allows the printer to print barcodes over the full height with a single print head without any offset. For larger print images with a maximum print height of 568 mm, up to eight print heads can be connected in series. The 500 ml ink bottle can be replaced during operation. Depending on requirements, Markoprint inkjet printers are available with different control units and printing technologies: Funai, Trident, Hewlett Packard and XAAR. They differ in terms of print resolution and maximum print height.
