New variable PROMStahl control system for step ramps
PROMStahl has developed a control system especially for load houses which, on the one hand, enables the loading and unloading of trucks docking with closed doors thanks to the technology of step ramps in conjunction with dock levellers positioned at an angle below ramp level and, on the other hand, also allows the loading and unloading of trucks with roller shutters in a supported horizontal position. It is the first system to combine two different loading systems at just one loading point. Example: After unloading a truck with rear doors and then docking a truck with roller shutter doors, the bridge platform is raised from the lower inclined position to the secured horizontal position using the autoreturn button. The truck docks, the roller shutter door is opened and the forklift truck, still standing on the bridge, removes the last row of pallets placed behind the roller shutter door. The bridge platform is then raised from the horizontal position back up to loading platform height, placed on top and the remaining pallets are unloaded in the usual way. The loading process works according to the same principle, only in reverse order.
