Vahle launches conductor rail system VCL on the global market
The VCL was designed as an all-in-one solution for shuttle systems, automated small parts warehouses (AS/RS) and storage and retrieval machines (SRM) as well as for transfer and transfer trolley applications in the small and medium capacity range.
"The intralogistics industry is demanding ever more dynamic warehouse solutions. We provide the basis for this with innovative products for safe signal and power supply, such as our new Vahle Compact Line safety conductor rail - VCL for short," says Rüdiger Jour, Product Manager at the Vahle Group. Thanks to its modular and compact design, the solution is specially designed for use in shuttle systems, miniload and stacker crane applications as well as shuttle and transfer car applications in the low and medium performance range.
"It stands out from other systems in particular due to its modularity, scalability and simple installation," emphasizes Jour. The VCL can be individually configured to suit the application, making it a multifunctional solution for the continuous power supply of logistics applications that ensures maximum system availability. The VCL is available with 2 to 6 poles and meets power requirements of between 40 amps with a galvanized steel conductor and up to 100 amps with a copper conductor, as well as voltages ranging from 12 to 500 volts. In addition, the VCL is compatible with the Vahle Multi-Carrier (VMT). The combination of conductor rail and multi-carrier creates a solution for a wide variety of storage technology applications with large suspension distances of up to 3.5 meters.
