Due to combinations of construction regulations, motors from SEW-Eurodrive can be used worldwide in a wide variety of countries and regions where different regulations apply. Taking these regional specifications into account, the three-phase asynchronous motors of the DR... series have been approved in various electrical construction regulations. In some cases, the relevant notes are affixed to the nameplates or separate stickers on the motor.

SEW-Eurodrice Germany has now issued a "passport" of the global engines with all endorsements and visas to make it easier for customers to keep track and simplify exports. Interested parties can contact the technical offices, which will make this passport available to their customers free of charge with immediate effect.
