igus reports: Chain complete!
For users who want to order their energy chain and assemble it themselves, igus now has the solution: complete kits. The complete kits consist of an E4.1 series energy chain, an aluminum trough, matching separators, strain reliefs and screwdrivers. All adjustments to the chain are made directly on the system or machine. The complete kits are available in three internal heights for travel distances from 8 to 24 meters in the igus online store and are available from stock.
When purchasing an energy chain, the customer usually has to go through a few steps in the ordering process to put together the right shopping basket for their cable carrier. Although the right type of chain is often found quickly, additional products such as a trough and the right connecting elements are usually required. "Every chain configuration, like every application, is individual, which is why we offer our customers a wide selection. The e-chain expert helps to configure and order the cable carrier," explains Jörg Ottersbach, Head of the e-chain business unit at igus GmbH. "However, there are also customers, for example in sewage treatment plants, sawmills or in the chemical industry, who are looking for a complete solution that can be ordered quickly and easily." For this reason, igus now offers complete energy chain sets for travel lengths from 8 to 24 meters directly from stock. Longer travel distances can be ordered with the help of the e-chain expert. The kits consist of an energy chain from the proven and robust E4.1 series, the corresponding connection elements, strain reliefs, separators, an aluminum guide trough with guide rail and one without guide rail, suitable mounting sets and an igus screwdriver.
One click to the complete chain
The sets are available in a total of three inner heights from 32 to 56 millimetres. In the online store, the customer only has to decide on the desired total length, inner width and bending radius in addition to the inner height of the chain. With one click, the kit lands directly in the shopping cart. The user receives the kit, including assembly instructions, within three to five days. igus also promises a 36-month guarantee on the complete cable carrier.
