Universal packaging made from post-consumer material for closed raw material cycles

Environmental and climate protection and the careful use of resources are more topical than ever. The recyclability of packaging is a key requirement for the industry. Plastic is a raw material in the recycling stream and should be treated as such. Replacing virgin material with recycled plastic contributes directly to the conservation of resources. Today, only around half of all plastics from packaging waste are reused in Germany.

Over 90% of the PCR (Post Consumer Recycling) material is used as granulate for the production of "Pöppelmann Blue" packaging. In the "Recycling Blue" color, the packaging is safely sorted after use and return (yellow bag) in the recycling stream and processed into new granulate for further use. This ensures that the material cycle is closed, fossil resources are conserved and the proportion of plastic reused from packaging waste increases.
