In his new position as Chief Financial Officer, Steven Reinhold, son of company founder André Reich, is responsible in particular for the strategic direction and finances; the trained wholesale and foreign trade merchant joined the company in 2010. As Chief Operating Officer, authorized signatory Grit Jedamzik is responsible for warehousing, customer service, transport and production; she has been Head of Supply Chain Management at Unitax since 2017. As Chief Executive Officer, André Reich continues to focus on sales, including key account management.

In this way, we can seamlessly build on previous collaborations and retain valuable expertise within the company," emphasizes André Reich. "With Steven Reinhold as CFO, we are also ensuring the future viability of the company and the transition to the next generation." The 31-year-old has already worked at Unitax as an authorized signatory, Head of Narcotics, Head of Production and Head of Wholesale; in 2018, he introduced the serialization of pharmaceuticals as a new service in the company. "It is a great pleasure and honor for me to now also represent and further develop our family business as Managing Director," says Steven Reinhold.

The Berlin-based pharmaceutical logistics service provider experienced particularly strong growth in 2019. The main reason for this is the high demand for outsourcing solutions from the booming pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the export sector. However, special value-added services, e.g. the serialization of prescription drugs and the handling of narcotics such as cannabis, also contributed to Unitax's strong growth. This has not only made it necessary to expand the warehouse and logistics space - the company organization is also adapting to the new challenges. The reorganization of the management is an important step in this direction.
