Successor to Robert Holliger
Dirk Hoferer is the new President of the European Pallet Association
At the general meeting of the European Pallet Association e. V. (EPAL) on June 24, 2022, Dirk Hoferer, Deputy Chairman of the Board of EPAL Germany, was elected as the new President together with Jarek Maciążek from EPAL Polska. He succeeds Robert Holliger, who is one of the founding members of EPAL and has served as President of the umbrella organization since 2010.
As a long-standing board member of EPAL's largest national committee, EPAL Germany, and as a long-standing Vice President of EPAL, Dirk Hoferer has extensive experience in national and international associations. Together with his Polish colleague Jarek Maciążek, Dirk Hoferer intends to continue the successful work of recent years and further expand the EPAL system in the role of President.

Ingo Mönke, Chairman of the Board of EPAL Germany, is convinced that Dirk Hoferer is the right person to head EPAL. "Dirk Hoferer has contributed to the successful development of the EPAL pallet exchange pool through his work on the Board of EPAL Germany and as Vice President of EPAL International. I am personally looking forward to the ongoing, constructive cooperation with EPAL International under Dirk Hoferer's leadership."
