The 58-year-old has more than 25 years of IT and management experience. Before joining Loxxess, he held various positions at Schenker AG, most recently as Head of Demand and Portfolio Management. Here he was responsible for global budget planning and financial management, IT controlling, supplier management, governance and agile transformation as well as demand management and resource planning for the IT of the Group's contract logistics division.

Extensive experience in IT project management

Before joining DB Schenker, Blanke worked as an IT project manager at Deutsche Post, where he drove forward several strategic initiatives in the areas of eCommerce, eFulfillment and information security. Earlier positions took him to the contract logistics service provider DHL Supply Chain and Rhenus Logistics.

After studying humanities, he completed additional training as an IT specialist in application development.
