Key positions at MAN Truck & Bus Germany confirmed
Munich, 24.10.2017 - The Supervisory Board of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH, chaired by Heinz-Jürgen Löw, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of MAN Truck & Bus AG, has extended Holger Mandel's appointment as a member and Chairman of the Management Board of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH ahead of schedule for a further three years until the end of April 2021. Holger Mandel took over responsibility for MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH in May 2015. Prior to that, he was responsible for the development and management of global Truck & Bus service activities within the VW Group at Volkswagen Financial Services AG. Over the past two years, Holger Mandel successfully implemented the reorganization of MAN's German sales activities. The early extension of his contract now signals a pronounced consistency towards customers and MAN service partners, but also towards the approximately 4,600 employees of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH.
The Supervisory Board also extended the appointment of Christopher Kunstmann as a member of the Executive Board responsible for Finance until mid-2020. The Supervisory Board appointed Marc Appelt as a new member of the Executive Board and Labour Director of the company from 1 November 2017. He succeeds Michael Groß, who will take over the newly created position of "Human Resources Central Functions & Munich Site" at MAN Truck & Bus AG.
