Markus Wolf takes over
Interroll Conveyor GmbH in Mosbach with new managing director
Markus Wolf has assumed responsibility as Managing Director of Interroll Conveyor GmbH in Mosbach, Germany, and the two associated Global Centers of Excellence Conveyors and Pallet Handling.
The 58-year-old Markus Wolf was most recently Chief Operating Officer of a medium-sized company for drive shafts and managed its seven production and assembly sites in Germany. The industrial engineering graduate has worked for more than 25 years in the automotive industry at MANN+HUMMEL, a manufacturer of air and liquid filter systems. In addition to his 10 years of international experience in operations, including assignments in Brazil, he has experience in purchasing, sales, marketing and project management.
The Interroll plant in Mosbach will be fully operational at the end of June and will employ around 250 people at the site. With around 19,000 square meters of floor space, the plant is Interroll's largest facility worldwide and will focus on the production of the modular conveyor platform (MCP), the modular pallet conveyor platform (MPP), belt curves and Interroll's Smart Pallet Mover (SPM).
In his new position, which he assumed in April 2021, Markus Wolf will report to Jens Strüwing, Executive Vice President Products & Technology and member of the Interroll Group Management Board. "With Markus Wolf as Managing Director, our new plant in Mosbach will be led by an experienced leader with proven expertise in larger and fast-growing operations," says Strüwing. "I look forward to working with Markus to create a future with a thriving plant in Mosbach and global Centers of Excellence.
