Andreas Brockmeyer steps up
Change at the top of Infraserv Logistics
Dr. Andreas Brockmeyer (60) will become the new Managing Director of Infraserv Logistics GmbH on 1 July 2020. He will manage the logistics company together with his management colleague Dr. Klaus Alberti (58) and replace Thomas Schmidt (61), who will take over Brockmeyer's previous position as Managing Director of Infrasite Griesheim GmbH and be entrusted with an additional management role at Infraserv Höchst as Head of Project Management.
There had already been job rotation at the top of Infraserv Logistics two and a half years ago, when Dr. Klaus Alberti was appointed to the company's Management Board and in return handed over the management of the central "Corporate Development & Communications" function to the former ISL Managing Director Jochen Schmidt. "We want to continue to take advantage of the opportunity at the Infraserv Höchst Group's management level to entrust experienced executives with new tasks in other areas and thus provide new impetus," explained Jürgen Vormann, CEO of Infraserv Höchst. His thanks go to Thomas Schmidt, who joined the management of Infraserv Logistics GmbH on March 1, 2014 and has helped the company grow. As Head of Project Management, Thomas Schmidt will drive higher-level projects and report to Infraserv Höchst's Management Board. He will also take over the management of Infrasite Griesheim GmbH, which provides infrastructure services at the Griesheim Industrial Park.
Dr. Andreas Brockmeyer has held various management positions in the Infraserv Höchst Group. The physicist began his career at Hoechst AG, became Deputy Head of Marketing & Sales after Infraserv Höchst was founded and built up the site marketing department, which played a key role in the successful development of Industriepark Höchst. From 2007 to 2011, the 60-year-old was responsible for marketing and sales at Provadis GmbH before taking over the management of the subsidiary Technion and becoming Managing Director of Infrasite Griesheim in 2014.
