Sensor solutions with intelligence from Sick

At FachPack, Sick will be presenting itself as a provider of innovative and intelligent sensor solutions for greater flexibility and productivity in the packaging industry. With the TriSpector1000, for example, numerous dimensional, quality and completeness inspections can be carried out in the food, pharmaceutical and packaging industries. The vision sensor is equipped accordingly: It has a robust anodized aluminium housing that is resistant to many media, offers a choice of IP 65 or IP 67 protection and is available with both a glass and a shatterproof plastic front panel. Thanks to laser triangulation, the measurement is independent of the color, shape, brightness and surface structure as well as the gloss properties of chocolates, cookies, pills, tablets or small parts. In addition, the sensor can be used to record intensity data, which allows the presence of labels or printed patterns to be checked.
