New SSI Schaefer Benelux headquarters opened
On June 24, SSI Schaefer's new Benelux headquarters in Oosterhout, the Netherlands, officially opened its doors to the public. The new office offers space for employees from various departments in Belgium and the Netherlands and is the new hub of SSI Schaefer Benelux.
The specialist for storage and logistics systems has been active on the Dutch and Belgian markets for more than thirty-five years. One of the next strategic steps for the further development of the company was the opening of a new, modern building that meets the needs of employees and customers from the region.
On the occasion of the official opening, Peter Pompen, Managing Director Benelux at SSI Schaefer, said: "We are delighted to welcome you all to the new Benelux headquarters. SSI Schaefer Benelux has come a long but rewarding journey, from a small local office opened in 1987 with just a handful of employees to a location for more than seventy professionals."
Steffen Bersch, CEO of the SSI Schaefer Group, attended the event together with senior executives from the global organization and the regional branches to celebrate the new milestone with his colleagues. Steffen Bersch explained: "Developing modern Intralogistics 4.0 solutions for our customers requires creative teamwork. With the new offices and the Training & Experience Center, the conditions for agile working in a modern corporate culture have been created here in Oosterhout."
The opening was followed by a tour of the new offices and the new Training & Experience Center for customers. During this festive ceremony, attendees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the in-house equipment display and the remarkable facts about the company's history. The Experience Center is designed to allow customers of small and medium-sized businesses to see, evaluate and try out SSI Schaefer's products. The test room shows smart and conventional storage solutions: PR 600 for pallet storage, R 3000 shelving racking for cartons and totes, and cantilever racking for long or heavy goods. The exhibition also includes the SSI LOGIMAT® warehouse lift and the WEASEL® automated guided vehicle system.
SSI Schaefer Benelux would also like to thank the strategic partners who were able to attend the opening.

We have been a customer of SSI Schaefer for many years and know the employees and the possibilities. It's really great that we can meet in this setting. With the new office building and the in-house Training & Experience Center, they show what they can do and why we work with them. It's great to see these developments and definitely worth a visit."
In future, the new Training & Experience Center will be available to interested companies who would like to experience SSI Schaefer's products and systems live on a tour.
